I just got back from a business trip to New Hampshire where I was being trained on a product that I most likely will not be touching for the next 6 months. The best part: I am not going to pay a dime for the whole excursion.

Apparently they are now manufacturing cosmetic contact lenses with extra large print of the iris, giving the distinctive anime look.

Anyone else find this just plain scary?

    I think a large part of it is the angle that picture was taken at and how wide she's opening her eyes. So no, the contacts themselves aren't creepy, but that picture sure is. Eech! top

    While I may agree that the contacts themselves have merit, I don't think that anyone wearing them is going to come off as any less creepy than the girl in that picture. :-P top

    Worse than these, though, are purple contacts. There's one girl at my job here who not only has eyes that bulge out but wears PURPLE CONTACTS. Way to draw attention to a flaw. And I'm sorry, but purple contacts? Really? Could you beg for attention any more loudly?
